AMALOWOLowcost Food Initiative

Stories

No invented crowds. No borrowed faces.

Stories are published from real participation, with consent. This page explains the categories. It does not fill them with people who were never asked.

Consent

Especially where someone is vulnerable.

A beneficiary can refuse. A child is not a case study. Photographs of distributions are used only when the people in them have agreed, and ALFI can still decide not to publish.

Beneficiary stories

Published only with informed consent. Stories about children require the consent of a parent or guardian, and ALFI still may choose not to publish.

Volunteer stories

How adults give time at the market, the food bank and community activities.

Donor stories

Why people and institutions give, without pressuring a beneficiary to perform gratitude.

Farmer and supplier stories

The people who make lower prices possible.

Community stories

What changes in a place when food, sport and basic services show up together.

Market stories

The weekend at Campos Stadium, told from what actually happened.
